pasquale esposito actor, he works professionally in Theatre, Film, Tv, he began to study as an actor very soon and at same time he began working professionally and never stopped his artistic research.
He was born in Naples and very soon he moved to live in Rome.
In Italy, he studied as an actor with Francesca De Sapio; he later attended a workshop with Susan Strasberg in Rome, and in New York he took acting classes with Susan Batson and Greta Seacat. Then he met Dominique De Fazio with whom he had a big shift in his artistic research.
From 1994 until today he has been studying with Dominique De Fazio, who he has worked with as an actor, research assistant and other various artistic collaborations.
His work as an actor has been profoundly influenced and guided by his practice with regard to Zen Buddhism (soto Zen).
He was ordained by Master F. Taiten Guareschi on January 1, 2001 at Fudenji's zen monastery in Fidenza, Italy, and he is following his teachings.
He has founded and is President of the Cultural Association "Flowers in the Sky" to bringing around in the world the education and the tradition of the Zen Buddhism.
He frequently guides and leads meditation-training seminars on Zen practice.
His approach to acting has opened various explorations and paths towards expression and communication, covering myriad fields and interests.
In Rome he practiced Bioenergetics, beginning in 1990 with Ellen Green and continuing with Tommaso Traetta (both trainers and supervisors in Italy for I.I.B.A. founded by Alexander Lowen) He has been certified by the I.I.F.A.B to guide and lead Bioenergetics Exercise Groups/Classes.
In May 2002, he wrote and performed in his own one-man play "Code of Honor. This work reflects his dramatic studies and also his personal research as a man through Zen Buddhism.
He studied Chinese medicine, and has been trained in shiatsu massage.
He studied Chi Kung, with various world-recognized Chinese Masters (Master Li Xiao Ming, Hu Lijuan, Wang Ting and Ming Wong).
He has also studied Kundalini yoga and the martial art of Aikido, for many years.
Among other things, Pasquale collaborates with local State social assistants and professionals, training and assisting to integrate youth and adult handicapped through creativity and zen education. He has written and directed several shorts films, in Italy, Hollywood and Germany. He loves to practice boxing to keep him "awake"!
